Ballsbridge homes in high demand

House prices in Dublin continue to rise at a rapid pace, as buyers continue to fight over too few properties on the market. The average home Dublin 4 now costs €710,000.

While prices rose outside of Dublin quicker than Dublin, there continues to be incredible demand for all types of home in Dublin’s prime markets. In our key area of Dublin 4. We have waiting lists of dozens of buyers for every home, each is very well funded with cash deposits and mortgages. Ballsbridge and Donnybrook are still highly prized areas, with well-financed families seeking houses in to the most popular streets and estates. Empty-nesters & downsizers are using this opportunity to sell, getting great prices for their homes & many are moving out of Dublin to cheaper locations across the country, where there is greater value for money and better quality of life. Buyers will look at houses in any condition, as many have sufficient budgets to do major upgrade works and deep retrofits to bring homes up to a modern standard.
