Connectivity here is second-to-none, with multiple bus routes through Rathmines and also the Green Luas line easily accessible from Ranelagh in less than 10 minutes walk. Dublin City Centre itself is walkable in less than 25 minutes, or a 10 minute cycle. If you do need a car, while Gulistan Terrace has no off-street parking, there are plenty of on-street parking which owners can use with a residents permit, costing a small annual fee.
